pilot dreams

well hello there my friends.  You will be SO HAPPY to know that all things in the world of ashleyinquisitive are going very well!  Still doing big things with Feast of Fiction and i’m SO SO SO SO SO SO SUPER EXCITED to tell you about my newest project currently in the works…that believe it or not, stemmed from this very blog site!

Remember those few episodes of that crazy video blog i created called “Behind the Box Cake”?  Basically, it’s a variation of that, formed into an actual pilot called “How to BAKE IT in Hollywood”.  More or less, it’s a show that combines both my passions: hosting and baking. [insert "Wayne's World" dream sequence ripple effect with hands: "Diddle liddle da"]  On this show of mine, i will be joined by celebrity guests and theoretically i can ask all the freaking questions i want to (interview style) while baking and creating something amazing in cake form with them.  CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS WILD NEWS?!?!  i’m literally still in shock and thanking the Lord above every single chance I get for the opportunities that have proceeded me.

Feast of Fiction is doing amazing as well.  It seems to be gaining more and more followers every episode, and it’s peaking the interest of many.  A month or so ago, the show was featured in the food blog of LA Weekly!  It was such an awesome article: read about it here.  When I think about it, I am just reminded about how blessed I feel to be apart of such an amazing and interesting project.

Just wanted to post a few pics from the “How to BAKE IT in Hollywood” pilot shoot.  It was seriously so amazing.  My best friend was my first celebrity guest (how convenient?) and we had SO MUCH FUN on set!  I am so excited about the potential of this project and moving forth with my career.  I’ll definitely keep you posted on the status of it.  Thank you so much for your support and please keep me in your thoughts
